Eric Singer's Island by Des Desiree had been excited when she heard about the Kiss Cruise. She would have a chance to meet her idols along with her friends that she had chatted with forever, but never met. Misha had already called her a million times about what to bring and what to do and how to act and what was still to be purchased. "I think Misha is more excited than me." The day arrived for the girls to arrive at the dock. Everyone from Alabama had decided to carpool, so the fun had started early. Misha kept talking about how she was going to attack Gene if the opportunity arose. Melissa had told Misha that she would have to share because she was a Gene woman too. Desiree could see that there would be a ton of women surrounding Gene. She wondered to herself how much it would take to bail Misha out of jail when she clawed some woman's eyes out for monopolizing Gene. At least her idols would have a considerably shorter line at their cabin doors. Desiree was a Bruce fan and couldn't wait to see him again. The last time she made contact with him had been at the Louisville Expo and she had nearly died when he hugged her. But something happened at the Expo that Desiree had not figured on. When Eric Singer walked out to do his Q&A, Desiree's heart skipped a beat. She immediately became a Singer fan. "Why hadn't I ever given him notice before? He's cute." And after hearing him speak, Desiree knew she had to make room for Eric in her Kiss Life. Desiree was afraid to tell Misha about her newest attraction for fear of being teased after adamantly saying she was not attracted to blonds and never would be. But minds were meant to be changed. Perhaps if Lorie occupied Bruce too much, maybe Des could sneak around and attack Eric while on the boat. "Let's get settled into our cabins and head out. I gotta find Gene before someone else does." Misha grabbed Desiree by the arm and nearly took it out of the socket dragging her down the hall. When they hit the sunlight, Desiree saw the largest crowd of women she had ever seen in her life. Kiss must be on deck. Misha ran head first into the crowd, but Desiree stayed to the back. "I am not about to fight those crowds. We will be on this boat for a while, so I can find my opportunity at a later date." Desiree found a deck chair and made herself comfortable. She ordered a glass of water from the waiter and settled back to work on her tan. A shadow fell over Des and she opened her eyes to see who was blocking her sun. Desiree could see a male figure standing over her with his back turned. "Not bad," she thought. He had a nice ass and dark hair. He was short from what she could tell, but if he looked as good in the front, who cared. Having a chance to be with Bruce or Eric was a long shot, but perhaps a fan would do. "Excuse me sir, but you are blocking the sun." "Pardon me." Eric looked around and down and saw a very attractive woman. Desiree nearly choked. "I'm sorry. You can block the sun anytime. After all, this is your cruise." "Oh no. I'm sorry for interfering with your tan. And this is not my cruise. I'm only along as a member of Kiss. This is Paul and Gene's cruise." "Ok. I am sorry for interfering, but why aren't you in the middle of that crowd over there? I assume that is where the others are at." "No, that is just Paul and Gene. The rest of us are just mingling around. If you look over there, you can see several small crowds gathering. Those belong to Ace and Peter and Eric Carr. His is pretty large too considering the fact that everyone thought he was dead. But really, he was sick for a long time and the death story was so everyone would leave him alone so he could recuperate and undergo experimental treatments. It was a big secret and no one could find out. Now that he is better, the cruise will be a way of spotlighting his treatment success. Everyone just decided to use the cruise as a way to announce the news to the fans first and then everyone else." "Eric is alive???? Thank God. I cried for weeks when he died. It was like losing a member of my family. Now I can help everyone celebrate. WOOO HOOO…. Thanks for giving me the news. But why don't you have your own group flocked around you?" "I had a lot of guys following me around and asking me for drum tips and stuff, but when they saw Carr, they deserted me and the women were all too busy trying to get a feel of Paul and Gene. Now I know how Vinnie feels." "Vinnie? He's here too? Yuck, Yuck, Yuck. I don't want to see him. Where is he at so I can stay far away from him?" Eric pointed to the other end of the boat. "He's staying away from this crowd. He's afraid of being stoned to death or thrown overboard. The only reason he is here is because Gene promised a full Kiss cruise with everyone. And besides, Vinnie does have a few fans. I haven't seen any yet, but I know he has them. He did sell a few albums after all." Desiree laughed at Eric's last comment. "I sure don't know anyone who calls themselves a fan of his. I know he wrote a lot of good music and I will give him that credit, but that is about all. I had heard that a girl named Vanna on our group liked him, but she disappeared and we never heard from her again." "Well since everyone else seems to be following the others, why aren't you there too? I assume you're a Kiss fan or you wouldn't be on the boat." "I am a Kiss fan and have been for a long time, but I don't fight crowds. I just figured that I would eventually get a chance to meet you guys. This boat isn't so big that I wouldn't happen to see all of you at some point." "Well you make a good point. Since you know who I am, why don't you tell me your name." "My name is Desiree. I am from Alabama and I am here with my best friends from the Kiss_Girltalk Group on the internet." "Oh. I have heard of you girls. Gene likes to keep tabs of all things Kiss and he goes in every so often and checks out what is being said. He likes to know how best to keep the group in the forefront." "Oh my God. You mean Gene reads our posts?" "Yeah. And from what he has said, you girls are pretty crazy and he said that there are a bunch of you that like to write about us in stories." Des had to blush. She made a mental note to tell the others that Gene liked to lurk in the group. "I wonder who he is?" Des would have to remember to check the membership on the group when she got home. Eric and Desiree were in the middle of their conversation when a steward interrupted. "Excuse me sir? The Captain wishes to meet with you in his office. The other band members have been informed and are at this time heading to his office." "Tell them I'm on my way. Will you excuse me Des? This shouldn't take long and then we can finish our conversation." "Okay. I'll just go to my cabin and get out of this sun. I don't want to burn on my first day." Desiree gave Eric her room number and watched as he walked away. "Wow, what an ass! Misha won't believe that I got to have a conversation with Eric." Desiree went back to her room and jumped in the shower. Since Eric said he would see her again, she wanted to look and smell nice. Her mind drifted to Bruce and then she remembered seeing the throng of women surrounding him as well. "I guess I'll just have to remember our hug." "At least I have a backup. Eric is a hottie and I bet he can be fun." Desiree was singing to herself under the heavy flow of water when Misha burst into the room. "Des!!!! Where are you?" Desiree shut off the shower. "What are you yelling about? I'm right here taking a shower." "There has been an emergency and we have to evacuate the boat. There have been a bunch of islands set up and each Kiss member gets their own and anyone can go to whichever island they want. I'm gonna go to Gene's and you can go to one too. And here's the best part. You can change islands. That means that if you want to go from Bruce's island to Paul's, you can. We are gonna have so much fun. I can't wait. Me and Gene on a deserted island. Woo Hoo!!!!! The guys told the crowd to pack light. Only one bag is allowed per passenger. All of our food and stuff will be provided and we all have beds and stuff too. It's only mattresses and cots and stuff, but who cares. I would sleep on twigs to be near Gene." Desiree took in all that Misha was saying. They were going to have to leave the ship. Something was wrong. Desiree began to shake from nerves. Misha grabbed her and told her to calm down. They were not sinking, but they had to leave the ship. Desiree grabbed her overnight back and began packing anything she could lay her hands on. Misha watched as Des packed her evening gown, but didn't say anything. She wanted to see the look on Des' face when the gown was pulled out of the bag. Misha began humming the theme to Gilligan's Island as she went about packing her own bag. When Misha and Des got to the upper deck, they saw the crowds all being dispersed to various boats. Misha hugged Desiree and told her she would see her later. She was going to catch a boat to Gene's island and she wanted to hurry before everyone else got there. Desiree looked around, wondering what boat she should be on. A tap on her shoulder interrupted Des' thoughts. "Have you decided what island you want to travel to yet?" "No. I was just wondering if someone was going to put me on a boat and tell me where to go." "Well," Eric said, "You can always ride in the boat with me. I am going to be over my own island and I don't want all men to be in residence. We don't know how long we will be stranded and I could use some female company. Men can be pretty boring. And Paul and Gene seem to have almost the entire female population headed to their islands. I guess that is why they got the biggest ones." Desiree thought about it for about half a second and agreed to go to Singer's island. She could always travel to Bruce's later if what Misha said was correct. The boat ride to the island wasn't too bad, but Des thought to herself about how she wished the world would stop rocking. She was experiencing her first bout of motion sickness. Eric noticed that she was turning green, so he dipped a rag in the water and wiped the back of her neck. "I hope this helps. The ride is almost over and then you will be on steady land. The ship's crew will set up your tent, so you can take it easy. We don't want you sick the entire time." Desiree looked apologetically at Eric and thanked him for his kindness. "I don't know what happened. I have never gotten sick before. If I didn't feel so bad right now, I could be embarrassed." "Don't worry about it. Everyone gets sick at some point in life. You just happened to pick now for your time." Desiree smiled and let Eric continue his work of rubbing her neck. When they reached the island, Eric led Desiree to a waiting chair inside his tent. "Your tent will be set up momentarily. I told the crew to set it next to mine so I can check on you if you get sick again. I can't have a fan ill during what was supposed to be a fun vacation." "Thanks for the special attention. You don't have to be so nice to me. I am sure you have other activities that you could be doing. Since this is your island, I am sure they need you to direct everyone on what they need to do and I don't want to make your fans jealous for occupying too much of your time." "The ship's crew is handling everything. Once everyone is settled in and comfortable, I will call everyone together and discuss what is happening and what we need to do to make this little problem as pleasant as possible. Besides, you need my attention right now. As I said before, the majority of the people here are men and they can fend for themselves." "But there are other women here too. I don't deserve such special treatment." "Yes you do. The other women didn't get sick. And besides, I noticed that a few have already found a suitable companion for the long stay and you seem to be all alone." "Well, I am alone. My friends deserted me. Their libidos overruled their brains and they ran to other locations." "Well you are welcome to stay on my island as long as you like and if you want to go visit, just let me know and I will tell the crew so they can prepare the boat for you. The islands are close enough that we can see the others without being interrupted and your friends are welcome to come visit any time they need a rest." Desiree laughed at Eric's last statement. "So I see you know my friends." "No, but if they are on Gene's island, I can figure out how lusty they are and if they are on Paul's island, I can figure out how moony they are and either situation would be exhausting to any person." Desiree just laughed. After her tent was finished, Desiree went in to unpack her belongings. She saw two other cots and figured she would have roomies, but so far, she saw no signs of other inhabitants. When she started pulling out her belongings, Desiree burst out laughing. There in her bag was the gold lame' evening dress she had packed for the Captain's Dinner at the end of the cruise. Now she understood why Misha was laughing at her. Amongst the other things she had packed, Desiree saw her toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, ponytail holders, the dress, her jewelry bag, and hairspray. She also managed to pack a bathing suit and a t-shirt and two pairs of shorts, but she forgot her hairbrush and her makeup and socks and sleep clothes and her other shoes and everything else she might need. "What am I going to do about underclothes and my hairbrush? I can live without everything else, but not the essentials. Maybe I can get some from Misha when I see her again." Desiree went about getting her things put away and preparing for a long stay. She was feeling better and decided that she would go find something to eat now that her stomach had settled. Desiree made her way to the food tent and got a piece of fruit and some water. "Is that all you are going to have?" Desiree turned to see Eric standing next to her. "This is all I want for now. I don't want to push my luck." "Well come sit with me and we can talk. I hate to eat alone." Desiree laughed. "You are definitely not alone. Look around at all of these people. I am sure they would love to talk to you." "That's the problem. They want to talk. I don't want to answer a million questions about music right now. The problems with the ship have changed my course for the week. I want to think about other things and you have been nice enough to avoid the subject of Kiss so far and I appreciate that. I do have other interests, but most people don't seem to care. They want me to be the star and they all think I live, eat, and breathe Kiss. That's Gene, not me. I would like to spend the evening talking about the stars or the weather or something trivial. There will be time for Kiss talk later." "Well, Mr. Singer. I will be honored to sit and talk with you about the stars and the weather and other trivial matters." Eric led Desiree to his tent and held her water as she sat down in one of the chairs gracing his tent. "Your tent is nice. I guess as our fearless leader, you need a nice place to settle. I am glad to see that there will be music here," Desiree said as she noticed the radio / CD player next to his bed. " Yeah. At least until the batteries wear out," Eric said. He didn't have a cot like everyone else, but instead, had a nice sized air mattress so that he could sleep in comfort. There were supposed to be real mattresses from the ship for everyone, but they must have forgotten his island. Eric had decided not to tell everyone about the difference in bedding. Eric handed Des her water and put on a cd before sitting down next to her. They talked about what seemed like everything but music. Desiree told Eric about her job and her friends and her general hobbies. Eric sat and listened to every word. It was refreshing to listen to someone else talking and not about him or his public life. "This might just turn out to be fun," thought Eric. He cautiously examined Desiree. She was not gorgeous like some of the women he had seen in his life, but she was cute and she was intelligent. Her body wasn't too bad, but he had met women before that weren't drop dead gorgeous, but were beautiful to him because they were beautiful on the inside. He never could figure out why men were so superficial. Not every woman could undergo plastic surgery to look like a Barbie Doll. Eric's line of thinking was similar to Gene's in that all women were beautiful in some way. "Well," Eric said as he looked at his watch, "I guess it is time to address the masses. Wanna come with me?" "Sure," Desiree said as Eric helped her from her chair. "Lead the way." Eric stood on a makeshift platform in the middle of the crowd. "As you all know, we had some technical difficulties with the cruise ship. We will be here for a while until help can arrive. That may be a few days or a few weeks. It just depends. While everyone is here, you are free to go about doing what you want to do and go where you want to go. There are only a few rules that need to be obeyed. I won't go into the Ten Commandments because everyone should know those, but I will say that everyone has to do their share of work around here. The ship's crew cannot do everything and we all have to help. There are sign-up sheets for everyone to sign under specific duties. And before anyone says anything, I want everyone to notice my name on almost every list. I believe that if I want someone else to do something, then I must do my share first. I will do my part to make everything as comfortable as possible for all of you. You will notice the yellow flag flying over there. That flag will be raised every morning and lowered every night. That will let the other islands know that we are okay. If an emergency occurs, we just need to raise the black flag and help will be on the way. Now go eat and have fun. The crew has done enough, so I am going to let them rest for the evening too. If you need wood or something of that nature, please help yourself. There are plenty of trees. And lastly, please respect everyone's privacy. I will be available to meet and talk with everyone, but please speak with the crew first. They will have my schedule and can add any one of you to an available time. Other than that, HAVE FUN……" Eric stepped from the platform and headed towards Des. "Now, would you like to take a walk?" "Sure. Just lead the way." Eric took Des by the hand and headed for the remote end of the beach. When they were away from prying eyes, Eric stopped and turned to Des. He took her face in both hands and pulled her into a kiss. "I have been wanting to do that all day." Eric kissed her again before she could speak. Desiree could feel her knees giving away, but she toughened up. She was not going to faint in the arms of a yummy man. Des wrapped her arms around Eric's neck and leaned into the kiss. Her bosom was crushed against his chest and she was sure he would be able to feel her heart racing out of control. "I know this is kinda fast, but would you like to go back to my tent?" Des could barely whisper her yes. Eric had left her breathless. He took Des by the hand and led her back to his tent. There seemed to be an urgency in their steps and the trip was much faster going back than when they headed out earlier. When they entered the tent, Eric tied the flaps shut and turned to Des. He grabbed her and kissed her again. There was nothing stopping them and their hands began to explore each other. Des could feel the muscles in Eric's arms and across his back. Drumming for so many years had given him the physique of a Greek God. He was definitely built. Clothes began to fly and the pair made their way to the mattress. They were careful not to fall too hard or they might bust it and then Eric would have to sleep on the ground. That would be a story to try to explain. Eric reached into the nightstand that had been placed beside the mattress and removed a box. He was glad the crew had thought of everything, probably on Gene's order. The box had been discovered upon first inspection of the tent upon arrival on the island. Afterward they laid in the bed for a while, talking and kissing and cuddling. Soon Eric suggested they get dressed and go find a bite to eat. They needed to build up their energy again since their activities had drained them. Desiree remembered that she didn't have a hairbrush and quickly ran her fingers through her hair. "I must look like Frankenstein with all of this hair going everywhere. Do you mind if we stop by my tent and let me get a holder or something to help tame this mess?" "I think you look cute, but we have to pass your tent, so we can stop." Desiree grabbed a holder and ran her fingers through to straighten it out. She would have to find a hairbrush somewhere and soon. She tied her hair back and went out to meet Eric. They walked to the food tent and got a bite to eat. After dinner, Eric excused himself for a moment and disappeared. He came back a few minutes later. "Come on. I have a surprise." Desiree followed Eric out of the tent and down the beach. "Grab a few of those twigs over there." Desiree did as she was told and soon, they both had a hand full of twigs. "Okay. We're here." Desiree looked around. `Where is here?" "Here is where we are going to enjoy a quiet night together before a hectic tomorrow. Here is also where we are going to enjoy these." Eric pulled out a bag of marshmallows and a pocketknife. "We can't stay on this wonderful beach without roasting these." He shaved off the ends of two sticks and handed them to Desiree. He then built a fire and they settled down to enjoy the night. The gentle sound of the waves hitting the rocks on the beach put a peaceful twist to the evening. "Maybe getting stranded wasn't so bad," thought Des. She cuddled up against Eric and they roasted their marshmallows. "This is so nice. I love how quiet it is and how beautiful the night sky is here." Eric pulled Desiree closer and began to kiss her. The marshmallows were soon forgotten. They made love under the stars. When the fire died down and sleep began to overtake the pair, they headed back to camp. Eric invited Desiree to stay in his tent for the night. "I would like to, but I think that if I did, we may not get any sleep and I have a feeling we are going to need some rest. There is a lot of work to do tomorrow." Eric wasn't happy with her answer, but he knew Des was right. So when they got back to camp, he walked Des to her tent and when they entered, he kissed her goodnight and went to the tent next door. Desiree found a gallon of water inside her tent and assumed it was for drinking, so she poured a glass to drink and then poured some into a towel and began to wash off. She would definitely have to find a bathing place tomorrow. Desiree changed into a pair of shorts and her only other shirt and collapsed on her cot. Today had been a full one of new experiences and a little danger. It wasn't long before she started dreaming of her day's experiences. The next morning, Desiree woke up singing. She was ready to get busy with chores and scouting the island for interesting souvenirs. Desiree put on her bathing suit top and her other shorts and her sandals. She wished that she had paid attention to what she was packing. She could really use a pair of tennis shoes and a hairbrush. After finishing her chores, Desiree's first mission would be to scout out something to make a brush. Desiree's first task was to gather wood for the cooking. She then had to help with washing and cleaning and then she could set out on her own. Des caught a glimpse of Eric for a few moments, but he was hard at work helping some of the men build some more stable huts in case of sever weather. Des couldn't help but think how sexy he looked shirtless and sweaty. Maybe she could bathe him later if she could get near him again. Desiree began talking to another woman that was on the island. She wasn't a big Kiss fan, but her husband was and so she came along on the cruise. Now here she was stranded and having to work. She repeated over and over how she was going to kill her husband when she got him home. Desiree was almost ready to run away from the woman's complaining until she heard something that peaked her interest. The woman mentioned how there was a supply area where things were brought over from the ship and at least they would have a few simple amenities and not leave everything to nature. Desiree asked where she could find this place. When the woman pointed to a newly built hut, Desiree thanked her and ran straight for the supplies. There was a line forming for goods, but if they had what she wanted, she would wait all day. Finally her turn came and when she approached, the crewmember asked her what she needed. "Well, I hate to be so superficial, but would you happen to have a hairbrush?" "Yes we do. Do you need anything else?" "Actually, I could use another pair of shoes if you have them." "No ma'am, we don't have any shoes, but we do have slippers and socks. Will those be okay?" Des could have hugged the man. "Yes. Thank you so very much. I was sure I would wear these sandals out in a matter of days. At least with the slippers, I can save my sandals for a little bit." The crewmember gave her the hairbrush, socks, slippers and a few toiletries to help her with her daily needs. He also suggested that if she had friends on the other islands, perhaps one of them might have a few things to spare. She could either row over to the other islands or send a message by one of the crew on their trips over. Desiree made her way to the area set up for bathing and other needs. She saw that the men had worked hard in making suitable bathing facilities and outhouses at the far end of the camp. Des was reminded of her childhood, visiting relatives who were too poor for indoor plumbing. Oh well, at least we won't have to go in the woods. Des decided that she was going to find her towel and go for a swim. At least she would be able to remove the day's work grit from her skin. Eric saw Desiree make her way to the water, but he was unable to join her. He was busy talking with a few of the fans that had already been added to his schedule. He would just have to make time to spend with her later and show her the surprise he had found on the scouting expedition earlier that day. When dinnertime rolled around, Desiree realized that she hadn't eaten a bite all day and she could use a good meal. The cooks had brought perishable food from the ship and were trying to get it all cooked before it ruined. They would definitely eat well tonight. She grabbed a plate and flatware and waited in line. She was able to get a few veggies and even a steak that had been cooked over an open fire. Being stranded was turning out to be very good. Des got her water and headed for a table. She didn't see Eric anywhere so she found a table and sat down. She had just begun to eat when she overheard some women talking about her. "Yeah. Look at her over there. She's not so chummy with Eric today. Seems she's been deserted." Another woman chimed in. "I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him with her walking down the beach. She is so ugly. He could have me any time and still he picked her. She must have begged him." And still another woman remarked, "I always heard he was too nice for his own good. He probably felt sorry for her when she got sick on the boat and figured he would give her a go just for fun." Des could not hold back her tears as the women continually berated her. She finally gained her composure enough to pick up her food and head for her tent. Maybe this wasn't such a good thing after all. By the time she reached her tent, Desiree was crying so much that she couldn't even finish her dinner. She sat her plate down on the ground and laid down on her cot. Eric was talking with one of the men when they passed Desiree's tent. He heard what sounded like crying and stopped. He walked up to the tent and listened. When he was positive he heard crying, he excused himself and entered Desiree's tent. He saw Desiree crying into her pillow. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" Desiree felt Eric's hand on her shoulder and turned around to see concern in his eyes. "I'm fine," she replied as she wiped away her tears. "You are not fine. What's wrong?" Desiree told Eric about the conversation she overheard. His face grew red and he stormed out of the tent before Desiree could stop him. He headed straight for the Bursar and barked out a few non- characteristic orders. When he finished there, he headed for the food area. He stood in front of everyone and when he got everyone's attention, he made an announcement. "We have a young lady who is very upset right now over comments she overheard in this room. I am here to tell everyone right now that the lady I have been seen with is with me. She is not with me out of pity or anything of that nature. She is fun to be with and I enjoy her company. No one has a right to discuss my private life and with whom I choose to spend my time. I have already told everyone that I would visit with each of you based on my schedule, so do not insult my companion. This trip was meant to be fun and now one of our friends is upset. I will not have anyone here upset and if I find out that anyone else has upset any person on this island, you will immediately be banned to Vinnie's Island. His island is virtually empty and he could use the company. Now I am offering again to spend time with anyone on this island as long as you notify the crew in advance, so I am asking everyone now to be respectful of me and my friend." With that, Eric left the food area. When he entered his tent, he saw that Desiree's things had been moved and she was sitting in a chair waiting for him. "You didn't have to do this. I'm okay." "Yes I did. I was not going to have people commenting about us when they don't really know. I wanted to show you and everyone else that I did not chose to be with you out of pity. I happen to like you and enjoy spending time with you. And because of that, you will stay here with me until we are removed from this island or until you choose to leave." "Thank you for being so nice to me. I never had any idea you could be so sweet." "It is one of my secrets. I try to hide it as much as I can because people like to take advantage of nice people in my business." When Desiree was putting away her things, Eric noticed the formal dress. "And why do you have that? Were you expecting a party or something?" Desiree blushed. "I got so scared when my friend told me about having to leave the boat, I didn't pay any attention to what I was doing and grabbed this instead of normal clothes. I also forgot to pack a few more things." "Well what did you forget? Maybe they have the things you need at the supply area." "I've already been there and got the hairbrush and a few other things, but they didn't have what I really need." "And what is that? Maybe I can work some magic. After all, I am the head of this island." "I am ashamed to admit this, but I forgot to pack any under garments. I only have the ones I had on when we left the ship." "Don't worry about those. You won't need them. They only get in the way and I hate having to fight clothes to get to flesh. Now come here and let me get to your flesh." Eric pulled Desiree to him and planted a rough kiss on her mouth. Flesh touched flesh and hands roamed. Their lips began to swell from the intensity of their kisses. A quick image of rabbits rushed through Desiree's brain before she threw it off for better thoughts. Eric was kissing down her neck and licking her throat. Des let out a moan that was sure to wake the dead. If no one knew what they were doing before, she was sure they would now, but she didn't care. Let everyone think she was a groupie. They didn't need to know that she had never been so sexual in her entire life. For the next two hours Eric and Des tested the strength of the air mattress. It was a wonder the thing didn't bust. Desiree finally fell asleep in Eric's arms. She knew she was where she needed to be that night. It did not matter what tomorrow would bring. She was happy tonight. For the next four days, Desiree went about her daily activities, humming to herself and ignoring the women who had given her so much grief earlier in the week. They still gave her bad looks, but they did not say anything else about her to where anyone could hear. Her days were filled with work, and her nights were filled with fun and passion. Eric had surprised her one evening with his discovery of a huge waterfall. Desiree had been missing her showers so this was a pleasant discovery. Now she had a place she could go for privacy any time she felt like being alone or at the very least, where she and Eric could love one another without everyone else hearing their screams and moans. Desiree and Eric made their way back to camp. They noticed the boat was docked, which meant they had visitors from another island. Desiree excused herself to the tent while Eric went to greet everyone. He was beginning to feel like Mr. Rourke from Fantasy Island. "Des! There you are. I have been looking everywhere for you. I came over her just to see you. Imagine my surprise when I went to Bruce's island to surprise you and you weren't there." Desiree was surprised to see Misha. "I thought you would still be over with Gene and his group of women." "Well, I would have, but I got tired of waiting in line and decided to come find you. Now tell me how you ended up here." Des led Misha to a rock near the beach and explained the situation. Misha was shocked to find that Des had been virtually living with Eric Singer. "What about Bruce? I thought he was your fantasy." "Bruce is my fantasy, but right now, Eric is my reality. He's wonderful. We have had the most wonderful time." "Well, is he good?" "What do you mean, good?" "In bed dummy. You're staying in his tent, so you have to be sleeping with him. I want details." Desiree told Misha how wonderful Eric was and how he had defended her when those women were so mean. "Well, since you are so enamored of Eric, are you gonna try to go over to Bruce's Island or are you going to stay here?" "I haven't really thought about it. I guess I need to talk to Eric first and then make my decision." "Well you better hurry. I am ready to sample the island fares and I want you to come along." Desiree sent Misha on her way and went in search of Eric. She found him at the food area, getting something to drink. "Hey sweetie. I need to talk to you. Have you got a couple of minutes to spare?" "Sure. Just let me put this away and we can go back to my tent." Eric sat his glass down and headed to his tent. Desiree followed close behind. When they got into the tent, Desiree and Eric sat down and she told him her situation. "My friend Misha is here and she wants me to go Island hopping with her." "Well I don't see a problem with that. What's wrong?" "You and I have talked a good deal and you know that I went on the cruise so I could see Bruce." "Yeah. You told me. I still don't see the problem." "Well I have dreamed of being with Bruce and this Island situation has made it sorta easy to do. The problem is that I never figured you into the equation. I am having such a good time and I really like you. But I need to know what it is like with Bruce, just for my own curiosity. Besides, there are other women who want you and I feel bad monopolizing your time." "Don't worry about my time. I am having fun with you. But I understand what you are saying. I don't really like it, but I can understand. So, I am gonna be big about this and let you go have fun, guilt free. Go over to Bruce's Island and see what kind of fun you can have, but just know that you have a place here on my Island." Desiree kissed Eric. "You are wonderful. I promise I will be back, but I just have to do this. Now go find you a nice companion until I get back. Just don't let her wear my dress." "I won't. You still have to do your Ginger Grant impersonation for me." Desiree grabbed her bag with a few necessities and left the rest in Eric's tent. She then went in search of Misha so they could hop on the boat and head over to Bruce's Island.
