Part 2 (Written by Tiger)

Tiger knew they were in deep trouble.

She went with Eric Carr, immedately knowing that to lose
her cool would only be trouble. They pushed away from the ocean
liner and headed to the island.

Once there, she heard bickering start. She finally lost her
temper and yelled at the idiot females to use their brains! She
stalked off and looked for wood to build a proper
shelter.. Her temper was simmering.

She got started on a communal shelter for all of them,
ignoring snide remarks, until one person pushed her too far.
She asked in a deadly calm voice what would they do for
food and shelter. They couldn't just wiggle their
noses and poof, it would be done. That shut most
people up immedately. She forced herself to calm down
and get busy. It was hours of back breaking work.

Most of the females has swarmed around Eric trying to
get his attention. Now wasn't the time for this
foolishness!

She finally got it built and ready.

"Ladies, Gentlemen, the shelter is completed.....You
will have safety. I apologize for my anger earlier.
Please make yourselves comfortable."

Everyone went in,same thing. She just sighed. She made
up her mind to go hunting.

She managed to down enough food, plus the rations to
keep everyone well fed for at least a week
or so. She decided to just stay to herself for a
while.

As she came in, one person thanked her for her
help. She smiled.

"Where will you be sleeping?" asked one female archly.

"Outside! " Came the answer. "I will not be a cause of
friction here. I made a place of my own. You all will
be safe. Good night" That said, she shut the door
indifferent to the stunned looks that she got. She
continued on to her shelter, realizing that she had
not hunted for herself. But she didn't care. With a
strangled sob, she lay down on the rush mat she had
made and cried softly.. when would people learn...

A sound at the door of her shelter made her sit up,
tears still spilling down her face.

It was Eric. Before she could speak, he came to her,
wrapping her in his arms and holding her tight, which
started the tears again. He let her cry it out. He
noted that she was blistered and deeply exhuasted.

Selfless...noble...pure.. innocent... peacekeeper and
fighter at the same time. She fell asleep in his arms,
and he now knew her name... Tiger.

In the next two days a great deal had been accomplished.
She had remembered how to smoke and preserve food, and some of
the earler hostiles treated her with respect. If
someone wanted to know how to do something, if she
knew, she showed them and told them. The friction
finally ceased.

Which was well, as she had developed sun poisioning on
the eighth day. Life was as normal as it could get, by then.

One of the women who was a nurse had come to check on her and
was highly alarmed. She raced back to the main encampment.
Some told her to "let the girl die.. one less to feed."

Eric got really pissed about that and he told them so in no
uncertain terms that she was the one along with
several others that had and was providing food and
shelter for them all. That brought silence.

The nurse returned. She was barely coherent.

Then suddenly three men laughing, went and burned her out
of her shelter.

Eric called a Council meeting and banished the men from the island,
to Vinnie's island where he left instructions that Vinnie make their
lives as miserable as they did hers.

Tiger was gone to the oceans shore. Barely coherent she built a place
there. Kevin Two Hawks found her and told Eric where
she was at, to avoid another mess. They arrived to
find her asleep...in a deep coma like sleep. He knew
she would not leave...no matter what the pain. He
could not leave her alone.

Kevin Two Hawks volunteered to look after her until she was well.
He would come at night, alone to check on her.

Tiger had moved her encampment to a cave in a cliff,
after she had healed sufficiently enough to be
coherent, over both Kevin and Eric's protests. After
the evening meal one night, the girls got all over
him. He had finally had enough. "Think with your
brains, instead of your pussies!" he shouted, a little
disgusted with all this.

Tiger had risked her life and still continued to. He
had seen her relieving some of the guards, so that they could
sleep. She was growing more feral, each time he saw her.

He stormed out into the sunset. He found Tiger cleaning a
freshly caught pair of fish and cooking them. "Would
you like some dinner? It's fresh and not poisonous!"
He grinned and accepted.

As they sat down near the fire, Kevin wisely disappeared.
He and Kevin had spoken at great length about her and he
knew her ways.

She handed him his fish and berries and consumed her
portion. He smiled and asked her how she had learned
how to do this. She replied that she learned out of
respect for the older ways.

The sun was gone, when they finally parted ways, or so
Tiger had thought. She had just settled in for the night
when she heard a call she could not ignore. The call of
an Elk Flute pulled her to her feet and pulled her to
the mouth of the cave.

There stood Eric, playing a song that she could not resist.

She moved to stand by him, stunned, yet pleased. He moved
closer and just held her for a while. She didn't realize
that he was interested in her, until his mouth found hers,
meeting in a soul kiss. One that quickly turned to passion.

Pulling her down onto the grassland, he gently divested both of
their clothing. They flew higher and higher together,
many times over as the roar of the ocean awoke a
primative need in both. Her wild heart beat in time
with his untamed heart. Finally, he carried her back
into the cave, where they began again. After that she
felt like she had fallen from a great height.

Talking, they got to know each other beter. She fell asleep in
his arms.. totally exhausted. When she woke up, he was
gone, but something remained.. A wild island flower
lay beside her...with a note. She smiled at what it
said, as her heart sang.
