Part Four (by Star)

Stephanie closed her eyes with a sigh of bliss, as she sank down into

a sofa. After spending the day interviewing Kiss all she wanted to do

was unwind and relax. Not that she could complain about her job. As a

music Journalist she was achieving everything she wanted, and so much

more. Especially now- she couldn't believe that she had been

requested to do a series of interviews with Kiss, and then asked to

be a part of the media entourage that joined Kiss in their tour. It

was a dream come true, although she still didn't know why or who had

specifically requested her.

Opening her eyes she frowned as she heard a thud and a muffled curse

coming from below her window. Moving onto the balcony she watched as

what looked like a jetpack was thrown into the dumpster below.

Craning her neck she noticed Peter Criss leaning over the balcony.

Shaking her head she gave him a quick wave, realising that he

obviously hadn't seen her. Hearing someone yelp below she frowned

when she heard Peter yelling down "Sorry about that".

Leaning over the balcony she saw a strange looking figure crawl out

of the dumpster, with the jetpack in tow. She watched in curiosity as

he gave a mock salute and scuttled off.

Peter Criss sure had some strange friends, she thought with a smile,

as she walked into the hotel room again. She'd spent a delightful day

interviewing him and Ace. She didn't think she'd laughed so much, as

she had today over their antics and quirks. She'd also spent more

than a fair amount of her time blushing over the competitive serial

flirting that had gone on with Gene and Paul. But that had also been

a lot of fun.

Flicking on her laptop she automatically clicked on her mailbox,

hearing "You've got mail" she sat down on the bed, and quickly

scanned her e-mails.

She smiled in pleasure, as she read her friend Holly's e-mail. It

seemed everything was set in motion after all, and that all the

Kissters were planning on meeting up in New York. Something she was

looking forward to doing. It would be nice to finally be able to

catch up with everyone. She was hoping that Holly could meet her in

Los Angeles a couple of days beforehand so they could do some serious

shopping. She wanted the perfect outfit for the occasion. Well that

and she actually had to convince Holly to get on a plane.

That and maybe they could have a good laugh over Peter's strange

friends. Frowning she wondered what sane person would carry around a

jetpack, or actually jump from the balcony of a hotel room.

Especially when they could have easily just walked downstairs or got

on the elevator. Unless, it was someone that didn't want to be seen.

Groaning she realised that maybe she had been in Journalism for too

long, especially considering she always seemed to think things were

suspicious and needed investigating.

It was probably Peter not wanting to be caught with a woman in his

room by his girlfriend or something like that. Although, the stance

and shape of the mystery figure were more masculine than feminine.

Giggling she decided either Peter had a secret he didn't want people

to know about or she was just thinking way too much into it.

Turning off her laptop she closed her eyes, falling asleep to the

many questions plaguing her mind.
