KISS and the Battle of G.O.O.D. vs E.V.I.L.
Part 39-A by Cyn
She stood looking out across the city. The stars were twinkling above and
nothing seemed out of the ordinary. A typical New York night was being carried
out on the other side of her window. No one below had a clue of the things
going on around them.
He saw her standing there in a silky nightgown looking out of the window. Her
brow was furrowed and she looked to be in deep thought. Walking up behind her,
he couldn't resist the urge to kiss her bare shoulder. She let out a deep sigh
and melted into his arms as his kisses traced the curve of her shoulder and up
her neck. He slowly turned her to face him, his lips never leaving her body as
they sought out their target.
He swept her up she wrapped her arms around his neck and allowed him to carry
her to the bed. Her fingers wove around the strands of his hair that caressed
her face as she kissed him. The bedding enveloped them as he laid her down.
Her soft skin felt warm against his chest as he made love to her. No one knew
what tomorrow would bring, but tonight they would share their love and their
dreams.
**************
Cynthia could feel eyes staring at her. Love wrapped itself around her heart
and she knew that Eric was standing there without even opening her eyes. She
languished in the feeling that love had finally made its way back to her and
she knew that no matter what else happened over this crazy weekend, she had
finally become a complete person again.
Eric looked down at the woman he loved and thought of the many times he had
wanted to let her know he had not left her. He knew that she had grieved for
him all of these years. There had been so many times he had wanted to let her
know he was alive, but he knew he couldn't. The time had not been right before
this weekend. But he was back now and he wouldn't let her go through life
alone again. Buttercup would pay for separating them for all of those years.
******************
This weekend had brought more than even he had anticipated. E.V.I.L. had come
on stronger than G.O.O.D. had expected. So many Girltalk members had fallen
under E.V.I.L.'s spell. And so many changes had happened to the people of
Girltalk. After all, links and matrixes and gifts had all been fantasy for
these people before now. And no one was really sure how these people would
handle everything. Right now, it wasn't so bad because it was all new to them,
but eventually, they would discover their newly acquired gifts were a
hindrance. Even now, he was linked with the woman named Tiger. He wasn't sure
that Cynthia could or would understand, but he new he had to figure out a way
to let her know his heart and soul would forever be connected to Cynthia. They
had been separated before, but never again. Only death would part them again.
Eric sat Cynthia down and began to explain what had happened with him and the
link to Tiger. He broke everything down into details and explained how the
link was necessary and how it would save Girltalk and Kiss. He just couldn't
believe that Cynthia had so understood when he told her about the link that
had been forged between him and Tiger. He didn't even have to explain the full
meaning behind the link. Cynthia took it at its full value and simply told him
that times were different and with their world being turned upside down, she
would never question any choice or action that was made through and by him.
His heart only grew larger with his undying love for her.
Cynthia looked up to see the sparkle in Eric's eyes as he pushed aside a few
strands of hair that were covering her nose. He kissed her tenderly at first,
but their kisses grew intense and they soon found themselves making love to
each other for the first time since Eric had "died."
*************************
Buttercup sat watching the clock. He knew that in a few short hours, he would
either achieve his every goal or those fools of Kiss and their followers would
win. He slammed his fist down on the table. That would not happen. He had
fought long and hard to get to this point. He had everything together. A few
stray problems would not prevent him from World Domination. He already had a
few of Kiss' followers in his grasp and his minions were steadily infiltrating
their way into the Kiss camp and they would bring him back what he needed to
win. E.V.I.L. had been in the background for way too long. It was time for the
world to feel his sting. Buttercup flipped open his laptop and studied the
video feed that was currently being sent from her. No one would ever suspect
her as one of his. The obvious choices had turned out to be bad ones, but he
had a feeling this one would be the one thing he needed to bring down Kiss and
G.O.O.D. once and for all.

Des opened her eyes from her deep sleep to find herself in need of food and a
huge cup of coffee. Her nerves were on end and her stomach heartily reminded
her that she had not eaten anything in two days. The previous day had really
wreaked havoc on her and made her forget food had even existed until now. Des
felt a huge cup of coffee and a muffin would do the trick. Maybe a caffeine
and sugar boost would also take her mind off of the personal pity party she
had been having since she went to bed the night before.
She had come to this concert and party in hopes of meeting Kiss and maybe
spending a little alone time with one of them in order to fulfill her deepest
fantasies. She had set her eyes to Bruce or Paul since they were her utmost
favorites, but she would have even been happy with Eric Singer. She had met
them before at Expos and other gatherings, but she just knew this would be
different and she would have a chance to find some personal time with them.
But then all hell had broken loose and so many things had happened to
interfere with her only opportunity to live her dreams.
Along with everything else that had been happening, Bruce had taken up with
Lorie and Paul was busy with Stephanie. She hadn't seen much of Eric Singer
since his disappearing act, but she had known there was no interest there
simply by the way he had taken to her as a friend. Begrudging her friends
their opportunities was not what she was about. She was very happy for them.
After all, the others women were just like her. They were fans who finally had
a chance to experience a dream come true. She was in a black mood and she had
to find some way to move past it. Maybe it was just her female pride or just
raging hormones, but Des was suddenly very depressed.
She took a quick shower and donned her jeans and a t-shirt. She wanted to head
down to the hotel restaurant to grab a bite and perhaps find some peace in
such a chaotic weekend. Maybe then her mood would improve.
Des could hear the shouting as the elevator made its way to her floor. Sounded
like someone else was in a bad mood too. When the doors opened, she found
herself face to face with a very nice looking man. He had long black hair and
a very toned body. Perhaps her morning was going to be better than her night.
"Good morning. Are you headed to the lobby?" The handsome guy was actually
speaking to her. She detected an accent, so she assumed he was from another
country, just here to see the show like everyone else.
"Yes I am. I figured on heading to the restaurant for a cup of coffee. Gotta
have that caffeine after last night."
"Last night was very strange. When I came here from Brazil, I did not expect
this sort of thing to be happening."
"You're from Brazil? I have friends in Brazil. They are supposed to be here
now, but I haven't seen them yet."
"Do you mean Ana and Breno?"
"Yeah. You know them?"
"I am great friends with them. Breno and I are in a Kiss tribute band
together."
Des could not believe her ears. "You're in a tribute band? What do you play?"
"I am the rhythm guitarist and Paul tribute. My name is Rafael."
"It's good to meet you. I'm Des. So where is Ana?"
"It's good to meet you too. I'm not sure where Ana is at. I think she's with
Breno. I tried their room, but I didn't get an answer. I was on my way to find
Breno now. My stupid guitar is acting crazy and I can't seem to be able to fix
it."
"Perhaps I can help. It seems that since the whole matrix thing happened, I am
able to repair anything I touch, so maybe I can repair your guitar."
"That would be great. It's in my room though. Do you mind going there?"
"Let me get a cup of coffee and some food first, then I can help out as long
as I am needed."
"Good. I haven't eaten yet either. Since I have been trying to repair that
thing all morning, I haven't even had my morning coffee.
