ROUND ROBIN PART 33
Written by Tiger

Tiger could sense something very wrong in the
currents. Suddenly she Felt the deaths. Bracing
herself against the backlash, she immediately went off
by herself to ride out the storm. The matrix suddenly
blazed and she almost lost control from the sudden
energy surge pounding through her. When the tide ebbed
she called upon her own powers and concentrated on Raven.
"Raven...Something is wrong here...very wrong. This is She
Who Rides The Tiger...

"WHO IS THIS?!" a male voice answered cautiously.

"Tiger" she whispered softly.

"Where are you?!" came the voice she now recognized.

"In my hotel room." She knew she was safe for the moment. She
called up the circle, but heard a knock at the door.
Calling the Saandar up for protection, she opened up
the door. To her astonishment, Ace and Eric Carr both
stood there. Ace recognized the Saandar, and wisely
backed down.

"Tell me what you know." Eric's voice soothed her nerves.

She told him what she had seen and heard by her own abilities.
The Saandar growled something to her, and she groaned aloud.
"We lost two of us and came close to losing everything."

The Saandar disappeared and her Tiger appeared, bowing
once to Eric then taking a position at her back. Tears
fell unchecked down her face and she spoke in
telepathy to him. The telepathic answer back made her
glow a little.

"This is my Guardian" she spoke quietly.

At a noise, she shifted into a snow white tiger, looking
behind Eric, her hackles up for a moment and then shifting back
as the feeling of danger passed.

Both men were amazed at the transformation in her. Ace knew
there was more to this than met the eye.

But she couldn't tell Ace the real reason of the Tiger's
acknowledgement of Eric. She couldn't tell Eric either.
Not yet...

Another telepathic conversation ensued. "He will know,
Child of My Heart... If he does not already know by now."

Her eyes turned even deeper green at that.

Ace could sense the currents around her easily. She nodded
quietly at the response.

"You're a mage," Eric said quietly.

Tiger just nodded. "Yes" came out in a very choked voice. She
pulled herself together with an effort.

"Leave me with her, and warn the others," he told Ace.
Ace shut the door quietly. Eric faced her,
seeing a deep sadness in her eyes. "What is wrong,
Green Eyes? What haven't you told me?"

Tiger's Guardian was joined by another of her guardians, a
snow white female Tiger. "There is a reason I have not
mentioned the Tiger in front of Ace. And the reason is
you." She explained as best she could, but wasn't
certain she was getting anywhere. In frustration, she
spun around, unwilling to let him see her cry. Her
heart ached and she ached as well.

"Hey..." his voice whispered to her as he spun her back
around. "Just because I don't know about it, doesn't mean
it couldn't be possible."

The next thing she knew, white hot heat and light seared her,
turning into rainbow light covering both. Hearing a noise near
the door, she put herself in front of Eric, raising a shield
to cover both of them and readied a arrow of electric energy
which crackled white hot.

Eric was amazed as her door blew open.

Seeing the danger, she loosed the arrow and launched others,
driving Daffodil back into the wall. She had Eric covered with
a shield that no one but she could see through.

Drawing the Dagger Of Fire, She yelled mentally //ACE!!!//

She cried out in Japanese and the four Guardians came.

By now Peter, Ace, Raven and Eric Singer had come down the
hallway running.

She kept driving Daffodil off and further down the hallway
away from Eric and the others, her body shaking with
the effort. She cried out again in Cherokee and a huge
Hawk of flame surrounded her. With a final explosive
burst, Daffodil was blown completely out of the hotel.

Raven turned to find the Guardians had surrounded them
and Eric Carr's shield had been released. Tiger called
the Power back down.

Both Erics moved, one on either side of her, as her body
shook in reaction to such use of magic. But there was still
one more surprise left in store for Tiger.

Both her hands were around the Dagger and just as she released
the Guardians back, both Erics had touched the Dagger, each
covering a hand. The mystical forms of a hawk and a fox merged
into the Dagger and into Tiger. She reeled in shock.

Raven knew what they had done, even if they didn't.
"You two realize that you both are bound to Tiger by
the Dagger, I hope!"

"Are you two crazy?" Tiger whispered trying to keep shock out
of her voice. "Do you realize what you have done?"

"We do and it changes nothing!" Eric Singer growled again.

Raven finally spoke. "Tiger, tell me what you know."

Shaking, she did as asked, putting the Dagger back in its
holder and dismissing the circle.

"Nice usage of Fire," Pete mentioned.

"I am of the Thunderbird Clan. " Tiger spoke quietly.

Raven's estimation rose quite a bit. "Let's get you out of
here and into a new room. She may come back."

To which Tiger gave a sharp bark of laughter. "Don't think so.
Not with the Guardians chasing her like a hound from Hell."

Finally she was settled into a new room. Bone tired
she lay down after setting the wards and Guardians.
Hearing the door open made her start. She summoned up
the last of her energy and stopped it just in time.
"ERIC?!" You two just about got incinerated!" She fell
back to the bed, completely exhausted.

At the same time Daffodil was trying to make another attempt at
both Erics...

A shrill war cry erupted from her lips and she shoved both aside
fast, shielding them. This time she Called the Phoenix. The Phoenix
seized Daffodil in its fiery talons and took her off and it
dropped her, straight down, headfirst into the ocean.
It would be one hell of a long swim back.

Tiger's eyes closed as the weariness closed over her like a
blanket. She was out of strength and exhausted. A movement on
the bed caused her to open her eyes.

"Drink this," Raven ordered.

Tiger complied. To her notice, both Erics were sitting on the bed,
one on either side of her.

"Another MAGE?" Pete chuckled a little, which earned him a small
grin from Tiger.

"Why did you two bond to me?" she asked of both Erics, not
understanding at all why they would do such a thing.
