Matchmaker by Lorie

Part 9

Eric couldn't have been happier if he were twins. He had a
beautiful stripper under each arm and was taking them both
to the big party tonight. He looked over and saw Gene
walking with Shannon under one arm and a buxom brunette
stripper under the other. He hoped Shannon wouldn't mind
sharing her demon tonight with someone else. Paul was saving
himself for the bartender he knew would be at the party
named Cynthia. Once Paul had his sights on a woman, that
was it. He looked around and saw Bruce standing by himself
by one of the limos. "Hey, Bruce. I've got two and I'd be
glad to share." He joked. Bruce laughed, "No. I'm set for
tonight. Here she comes now." Eric, Paul, and Gene turned
around and saw Bruce walk up to Lorie and, holding her hand,
helped her into the waiting limo. The three looked at each
other and smiled. Mission almost accomplished. Now they
just had to hope tonight went well.

In the limo, Bruce and Lorie made small talk until they
reached the club. She hoped that she didn't make a fool of
herself tonight. This was her first date ever and she was
nervous. She had dressed carefully for tonight, opting for
the black pleated mini skirt and cream silk blouse. Lorie
couldn't help tug at the hemline because she had never wore
a skirt so short before. What she didn't realize was an
extra button of her blouse had come undone and she was
showing some serious cleavage.

Bruce did notice. Watching her hand glide over her knee and
thigh as she fussed with her skirt and dim interior lights
showing off her cleavage, he found it quite warm in the limo.
He wanted to ask her about the tape. He had found out about
Gene breaking her glasses and her luggage getting lost, so
that answered those questions. He was happy about the
transformation, she looked fabulous. Was she interested in
him? Tonight he would find out.

The party was already in full swing when they arrived. Lorie
had never been to a club before and was amazed at the sights
and sounds of it all. Until joining the tour, the loudest
event she ever went to was her church's fall festival and it
was NOTHING compared to this! She was dazzled by the lights
and the music made her want to dance. She changed her mind
when she saw the people gyrating on the dance floor. She
didn't know the steps and would probably embarrass herself,
or worse embarrass Bruce. So she stayed next to him, holding
his hand, and was thrilled with the fact she was here.

Bruce released his hand from Lorie's tightening grip and
slid his arm around her waist. He could tell she was nervous
and wanted her to relax a little. He wouldn't enjoy himself
if his date was slightly terrified. He steered her toward
the bar to get something to drink. On the way he noticed the
men at the party giving Lorie the once over and the girls
with their jealous looks. He suddenly felt possessive and
tightened his arm around her. She was his tonight, sorry
guys.

A little later, they were sitting at a table talking with
some guys in a local band. Well, Bruce was talking anyway.
Lorie sat there listening and sipping her glass of wine. She
didn't drink but thought the wine was safe and would help
her relax. Her attention was turned toward the bar where
Paul was in deep conversation with the female bartender.

Her attention was quickly turned back to Bruce when he spoke
softly in her ear, "It's not polite to stare." The feel of
his breath on her ear sent shivers down her spine. She
turned to face Bruce to find his face mere inches from hers.
She could feel the warmth of his breath on her lips and the
intent look in his eyes. Before she realized what was
happening, Bruce placed a soft kiss on her lips. She was
surprised how good his lips felt on hers.

Bruce raised his head a little after the kiss and looked
into her blue eyes. He could see she wasn't expecting the
kiss. She looked so…innocent. He knew if he didn't stop now
he'd do something he would regret. "Would you like to
dance?" he asked after he regained his composure. She looked
out onto the floor again and shook her head, "I don't know
how." He stood up and offered his hand, "It's not hard. I'll
show you. You just move to the music." She took his hand and
let him lead the way.

Part 10

Lorie didn't know if it was the music, the glass of wine, or
the kiss that caused her to feel so light headed. All she
knew was she didn't want it to stop. She realized dancing
wasn't so difficult and she enjoyed spinning around the
floor. With Bruce as her partner, she was on top of the
world. When a slow dance started, felt like a queen when he
pulled her into his arms moved with her to the music. She
couldn't resist the urge to lay her head on his chest and
breathe in his scent.

It had been a long time since Bruce felt this good. He
couldn't remember the last time he enjoyed dancing with a
beautiful in his arms. Christina didn't like to…No he
wouldn't think about her tonight. Nothing would spoil his
mood tonight. He decided to see just how much Lorie was
interested in him and lead the dance toward a secluded
alcove off the dance floor.

She didn't notice Bruce was steering her off the floor until
she realized how dim the lights were. She raised her head
off his chest and looked questionably at him. He bent his
head down and claimed her lips in another kiss, this one
firmer than the first. She moaned slightly as his hands slid
over her back, holding her even closer to him. Her hands
explored the soft material of his shirt and firm muscles of
his back. He felt so wonderful being close like this. She
gasped when he pushed his tongue into her mouth and danced
an erotic tango with her tongue. Her knees were growing weak
and she clung to him to stay standing.

Bruce sighed against her mouth. Lorie tasted like the sweet
wine she drank earlier. She was hesitant at first but
learned quickly and drove him crazy with her kiss. Her silk
blouse felt good in his hands but he wanted to feel the soft
skin he knew would be underneath. He fought the urge to push
her to the wall and press his body against hers. He knew it
would be too soon and would scare her away. He wanted her,
that he knew. And she wanted him, but…

"Hey, Bruce. Let her come up for air." Paul called out as he
walked past with Cynthia tucked under his arm. Bruce broke
the kiss and glared at him. Paul felt the look and guided
Cynthia away, "Uh…let's go find a private place." She giggled,
"I know just the place. Let's go." And walked up the stairs
to the offices.

Lorie was thankful for the dark corner so Bruce wouldn't see
her blush. She felt his finger under her chin, lifting her
face to his. "Would you like to go back to the hotel where
it's more private?" He asked gazing into her eyes.

She couldn't believe her own ears when she said yes. In
moments, they were out the door and in the limo heading back
to the hotel.

Part 11

They rode in silence back to the hotel. In the elevator,
they held hands and looked straight ahead. Both couldn't
believe what they were doing but weren't about to stop. It
wasn't until they were in Bruce's room that they looked at
each other again.

Bruce took her face gently in his hands and looked into her
eyes, "We don't have to do anything if you don't want to."
Lorie looked back, the memory of what happened in the club
fresh in her mind, "I don't know. I've never done anything
like this before. I…" "Shh, I won't hurt you in anyway. I
could never hurt you." He whispered then waited for her
answer. She hesitantly reached her arms around his neck and
pulled his face down to hers for a kiss.

As their lips met, he held her close and he felt her heart
beating against his chest…or was it his heart that was
beating so hard?

Without breaking the kiss, Bruce reached down and scooped
Lorie up in his arms. She gasped and broke the kiss as she
felt herself being lifted up. She looked at Bruce with shock
and relaxed a little when he said, "I won't force you to do
anything you don't want to. But we will be more comfortable
over here." He laid her on the bed gently, as if she were
made of fine china. He laid down next to her and held her
close, "You are so beautiful. Let me love you tonight." She
reached up and caressed his cheek, "Yes…please."

He leaned over her and kissed her, allowing his hands to
caress her face and neck. She too allowed her hands to
explore his back and arms. Her mind was screaming that
she shouldn't be doing this, it was wrong, it was sinful.
Her body wasn't listening. She was too enraptured with
new sensations that she was experiencing.

When Bruce looked in her eyes, he could see her drunk on
this new found passion. He guided her shy hands to his
shirt and, without a word, she unbuttoned it. When he felt
her soft hands touch his chest, he sighed at the gentleness
of her touch. It had been so long since he was treated so
tenderly. He knew this was how it was supposed to be and he
would never go back.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. "Ignore it, baby."
He whispered against her mouth and resumed kissing her. The
knock sounded again. "Oh, go away!" he muttered as he
continued devouring her lips. On the third knock, he jumped
off the bed with a yell of disgust. He walked briskly to the
door and almost yanked it off its hinges as he opened it.
"WHAT!"

A bewildered looking Gene stood in the hallway, his hand
poised to knock again. "Bruce! Here you are. Have you seen
Lorie? I…" Bruce glared at Gene, "YES and I'll have her call
you." And slammed the door in Gene's face. It was quickly
opened again and Bruce yelled, "Tomorrow!" and slammed it
shut again. Gene turned to Paul and Shannon with a surprised
look on his face.

Paul laughed, "I told you! Pay up." Gene felt his pockets;
"I seem to have left my wallet in my room."

Paul reached out and grabbed Shannon, "Ok I'll just hold her
hostage until I get my money."

Shannon laughed, "You won't have time. Cynthia will be here
in a few minutes."

Paul sighed and let her go, "You're right. Gene, I'll see
you…TOMORROW!" and walked to his room laughing.

Shannon turned to Gene and smiled, "Am I sharing you
tonight?"

Gene picked her up and carried her to their room, "No. I
enjoyed her at the club. I want to hear about this stripping
thing you did and get a private show."

Part 12

Bruce walked back to the bed and laid down, "Some people can
be so rude." He looked into her eyes and caressed her cheek,
"Where were we?" Lorie smiled at him, "Right here." And
pulled him down for a kiss. It wasn't long before the
interruption was forgotten and they were lost in desire.
